FUN WITH HENNA

Do you know where henna comes from? Henna is a plant which flowers and has been used to dye skin, hair, wool, leather and often nails for thousands of years. The plant is called Lawsonia Inermis that is a sort of flowering bush. Henna grows in tropical areas.

Henna is a natural product that is used for both hair dye and treatments as well as creating amazing body art that is non permanent. It's a great and natural way to express oneself with out the commitment of a real tattoo. Henna allows you to change your body art with your mood. I know you're going to love experimenting with henna.

Recently one of my readers made a request for a Henna Tattoo Hub. I said, “YEA, I love me some henna”. So I’m all too happy to do this hub! Henna is a fun and creative way to play around with tattoo body art and yet make no commitment as it's not permanent like a traditional tattoo.

So without further ado;

using henna is a good way to try out tattoos and check out the reaction of friends and family, before getting a permanent tattoo. So many people get a tattoo quickly, then regret it very shortly afterwards.

Henna is NOT a tattoo. It's body painting that leaves a stain on the skin which will wear off in several days to weeks depending on the skill with which it was applied. Tattoos are ink injected into the skin layers which is most often a permanent process. You shouldn't confuse the two procedures as they are quite different.

How fun! I would give it a try some day. I'm not sure whether I'm artistic enough to do it myself, though.

TattooVirgin 14 months ago

Om, That's the fun of Henna Tattoos, they are not a permanent commitment and you can let your creativity flow and create any designs that happen, thats right just let them happen.

:) Jill
